Job description:

We are expanding our business by establishing an internal investment division to manage corporate capital and identify quality investment opportunities. We are looking for a motivated and analytical Corporate Investment Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the evaluation of investments across public and private markets through financial analysis, valuation, market research and due diligence, while working closely with senior management to support strategic investment decisions and the company’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and evaluate investment opportunities across private companies, start-ups and public markets.
  • Conduct market, industry and competitor analysis to identify investment potential.
  • Review financial statements, business plans and investment proposals.
  • Build financial models and perform company valuations.
  • Assist in investment due diligence and risk assessment.
  • Monitor the performance of investment portfolios and prepare regular reports.
  • Track market trends, economic developments and emerging industries.
  • Prepare investment presentations and reports for management.
  • Work closely with business partners, management teams and external advisors.
  • Support the execution of investment transactions and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate investment records and documentation.
  • Perform other investment-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Investment or related field.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years in investment analysis, finance, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and ratio analysis.
  • Experience in investment research and portfolio analysis.
  • Understanding of capital markets, equities, and fixed-income instruments.
  • Ability to prepare investment papers and business proposals.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to accurately evaluate financial, operational, and business information.
